The Badezimmer Reuland project demonstrates how modern bathroom design harmonizes with natural materials and clean lines. Wooden washbasins with two oval ceramic sinks define the space and create a warm, inviting atmosphere. The combination of wood, glass, and metal ensures a stylish yet functional design that enhances everyday life.
Before
The bathroom featured a classic layout with a washbasin, toilet, and a separate shower, which made the space functional but offered little flexibility. The lighting mainly depended on a central ceiling light, resulting in a rather flat and uninviting atmosphere. Surfaces and materials showed clear signs of wear, reinforcing the aged impression and giving the room a cool and austere feel. The arrangement of sanitary fixtures left little room for freedom of movement or relaxed use, limiting the wellness aspect in daily life. Overall, the space was functionally at its limit and demonstrated the need for renewal to significantly enhance comfort and living quality.
After
Where previously a rigid room layout with separate washbasin, toilet, and shower limited the space, the room now opens up to a clearer, more fluid structure. The sanitary fixtures are arranged to create freedom of movement and make everyday life more relaxed. The lighting is now more varied and evenly distributed, giving the room depth and a calmer atmosphere. The surfaces harmonize through their material effect, creating a pleasant, natural tactile experience that enhances the bathroom as a living space. Thus, the functional room has become a place that combines everyday practicality with a subtle wellness character and offers lasting value.
