Additionally, the system occasionally caused audible operating noises, which were perceived as disturbing in quiet residential areas. Maintenance intervals were tight because the technology was aging and required increasing effort. Overall, the system was functionally at its limit and offered little flexibility for demand-oriented control or later expansions.

The new heating system in Junglinster now operates with a heat pump that covers the energy demand significantly more efficiently and ensures an even heat distribution throughout the living space. Where conventional radiators previously caused uneven temperatures, the current solution provides a calm and comfortable indoor climate without disturbing operating noises. The piping was renewed and designed to minimize heat loss and to allow the system to operate with less maintenance. The combination of modern heat pump technology and optimized distribution enables flexible control that adapts to the actual demand.
