Bathroom Design in Befort
The Befort bathroom project demonstrates how a thoughtfully designed bathroom combines well-being and functionality. The combination of wood, ceramic, and glass creates a harmonious atmosphere. The clear spatial layout and high-quality craftsmanship reflect the premium quality that characterizes the bathroom design.
Before
Before the renovation, the bathroom in Befort showed worn tiles with a matte surface that barely reflected light, making the room appear subdued. The fixtures were functional but showed visible signs of use, and the sanitary ceramics had age-related discolorations. The radiators were still intact but not optimally integrated into the room concept, while the shower enclosure and bathroom furniture visually divided the space and restricted freedom of movement. The lighting was sparse, creating a cool and uninviting atmosphere. The existing installation no longer met current requirements for energy efficiency and comfort, making a comprehensive renewal necessary.
After
The walls are covered with large-format porcelain stoneware tiles from Italgraniti, whose smooth surface evenly reflects daylight and makes the room appear more open. The new fittings from Hansgrohe and Gessi integrate seamlessly into the reduced design, while the sanitary ceramics from Geberit feature clear lines and a matte surface that is easy to maintain and durable. The radiators from Buderus were replaced by flat models that are barely visible, integrated into the wall, significantly improving the freedom of movement in the bathroom. The shower enclosure from Kermi consists of transparent safety glass that does not visually divide the space, and the bathroom furniture from Mobiltesino offers functional storage without creating volume. The lighting was converted to LED modules from RepaBad, which illuminate the bathroom evenly and make the room appear in natural white. Thus, the bathroom meets today’s requirements for energy efficiency and comfort and supports sustainable living.
